The advantage of using PVC for floor coverings is that it can be used to produce a vast range of different designs (such as imitation parquet, tiles, marble etc.). These coverings are easy to lay and improve room comfort by helping to retain heat and reduce external noise.
Floor coverings, which have a complex structure (cellular and/or compact layers), are manufactured by a plastics processing technique known as
coating on synthetic (glass) fibres, fabrics, felt, etc.
