Belgium's PVC and specialty chemicals producer Solvay will shun the acquisitions market as it seeks to grow its vinyls production to meet increasing demand across Europe, Jean-Pierre Pleska, General Manager of Solvay's strategic business unit for vinyls, told Platts in an interview.
