Russia is a fast growing market for Vinyls. SolVin and RusVinyl join their efforts, in collaboration with LRS Reimelt/Henshel, to promote the development of PVC Pipes & Fittings in Russia and CIS.
The first conference about «PVC PIPES IN RUSSIA AND THE CIS: THE SECOND BIRTH», was chaired by Benjamin Alpern, Director of Solvay Representation in Russia. It has taken place in the Lomonosov State Academy of Moscow on October, 2nd, gathering more than 100 participants, among them: pipe manufacturers, representatives of national and municipal authorities, as well as engineering agencies, specialists in pipe certifications and standardisation, extrusion and mixing equipment companies, etc...
The conference covered a wide spectrum of activities from the market to the PVC raw material, through the equipment, standardisation, installations and network, etc. Among the speakers : Bruno van der Wielen Business Manager Suspension PVC and Joël Fumire Pipes & Fittings Expert, both from SolVin, but also Dmitriy Kulikhin Director of the Pipe Certification Center and Serguey Sivaev Head of the Municipal Facilities Department of the Institute of Urban Economics.
