Wood Polymer Composites show a "very impressive growth in Europe" as stated by AMI during the conference held in Vienna in October 2008.
SolVin's WPC Specialist, Mrs Claudine BLOYAERT, presented the new PVC resin developped for this application : SOLVIN X60SW, which in combination with wood fibers exhibits very high modulus, low shrinkage and very good fire resistance.
On top of that this new resins offers a much better behaviour during processing, raising the extrusion speed by 20%!
