Fachverband der elastischen Bodenbelagshersteller, FEB) was set up on 24th April 2003. It brings together the eleven largest European manufacturers of PVC and linoleum floors; it is headquartered in Frankenthal (Germany). Its first President is Mr. Schintz, Chairman and Managing Director of the Tarkett Sommer Group. The association's role is to promote greater use of plastic floor coverings which have successfully demonstrated the qualities over several decades.
