Today the European Commission published "A European Strategy for Sustainable, Competitive and Secure Energy", calling for Europe to strengthen its position as the most energy-efficient region in the world.

As summarised in the attached press release, bearing in mind that the use of Plastics products generates huge energy savings, the Plastics industry strongly supports this move to formulate a common EU energy policy.
